Guangzhou Pacific Tinplate Co., Ltd.
Established in December
1994 and put into operation at the end of 1997, the company is a joint venture
incorporated by Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC), one of
the world’s largest steel enterprises and the world’s largest tinplate
producer, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Marubeni Itochu🉐 Steel Inc., CNT Tin Plate
Ltd., Industrial Development Corporation of Guangzhou Development District
and Guangzhou Light Industry & Trade Group Ltd., with a total investment of
108 million US dollars, a registered capital of 36 million US dollars. It has
established a brand PATIN.
The company is designed
with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of high-quality tinplate
(electrolytic tinplate), adopting the Frostean production process and the
technologies such as insoluble anode and tin ion supply developed by NSSMC,
reaching the internationally advanced level. The company produced tinplate
products with the base plates imported from NSSMC with related processes such
as electroplating, cutting and packaging. Some products are sold domestically,
and some are exported to countries such as the US, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Iran
and Turkey. The company has 1 fully-automatic tinplate production line, 3
shearing lines and 1 semi-automatic packaging lines.
At present, its products
are widely applied in markets of high-end purposes including beverage cans
(such as Red Bull), food cans, milk powder cans (Mead Johnson, Nestle, Yashily,
etc.), aerosol cans (Gunner and Chrysanthemum mosquito repellents). It has
alwa🌱ys taken the lead in the industry in terms of product quality. Its product “Tinplate”
has won an honor of a famous brand of Guangdong for its excellent brand image
and quality. The company has successively passed the certification of ISO9001
quality control system, ISO18001 occupational safety and health management
system, ISO14000 environment control system, ISO2200 food safety control
system, and has been certified as a clean production enterprise of Guangdong
Province and an outstanding clean production enterprise of Guangzhou.
